Road Traffic Stations (CPS) and Substations (CPPS) are designed to locally manage variable traffic signs, and collect traffic data and meteorological conditions on the road. CPS is used as an independent unit that manages traffic signals based on locally collected data or as part of a traffic management system. Since the road transport system is included in the system, all collected data is sent to the COKP headquarters.
The final transport system devices that are connected to the respective CPS or CPPS and are placed directly along the motorway and the tunnel are as follows:
- Cameras for video tape,
- Meteorological measuring stations,
- Lightly variable traffic signs,
- Information display,
- Traffic counters,
- Semaphores and blinkers,
- Signs with indoor lighting,
- Traffic lane signals.
