Uprava JP Autoceste FBiH usvojila je inicijative za donošenje Odluka o pokretanju procedure u cilju realizacije projekata za izgradnju tunela Prenj na dionici Konjic – Mostar sjever i dionice Mostar sjever – Mostar jug.
Usvajanjem Prostornog plana područja posebnih obilježja od značaja za Federaciju BiH “Autocesta na Koridoru Vc” stečeni su svi uvjeti za početak izgradnje ova dva projekta.
JP Autoceste FBiH okončalo je pripreme za realizaciju projekata i pripremilo kompletnu studijsko-tehničku dokumentaciju. Ukupna vrijednost izgradnje ove dvije dionice je oko 550 miliona eura.
Prema ranije usvojenoj Odluci Vlade FBiH model Finansiraj – Projektuj – Izgradi za tunel Prenj i Mostar sjever – Mostar jug predstavlja dodatni izvor finasiranja pored tradicionalnog načina putem međunarodnih finansijskih institucija. Ovim modelom finasiranja omogućuje se dvostruki priliv sredstava što će značajno ubrzati izgradnju Koridora Vc.
Prilikom projektovanja i građenja tunela Prenj i dionice Mostar sjever – Mostar jug JP Autoceste FBiH predložilo je odredbu da minimalno 40% ugovorene vrijednosti projekta bude realizirano putem domaćih kompanija.
Vlada Federacije BiH donošenjem ovakve Odluke će preuzeti aktivnu ulogu u svim fazama realizacije ova dva projekata i objaviti javni poziv, dok će JP Autoceste FBiH biti nosilac svih tehničkih aktivnosti.
Izgradnja dionice Mostar sjever – Mostar jug, kao i tunela Prenj trebala bi početi u proljeće 2018. godine.
